*Eligible members are entitled to nominate or second (1) candidate for each office. Nominations can be submitted by mail petition with NAME and Signature of nominator, Seconder, the Position sought, and Signature of Nominee indicating acceptance.

Eligibility of Members:
1. Dues are paid up (current)
2. Continuous good standing
3. Military called or in service for more than 30 days is in good standing

Nomination Procedures:

1. Nominations and elections shall be the SOLE order of business
2. Nominations shall be taken even if there is no quorum present
3. Nominations shall be made at the meeting by a member in good standing
4. A motion must be made by a second member NOT the nominee
5. Nominations can be submitted by mail petition with NAME and Signature of nominator, Seconder, the Position sought, and Signature of Nominee indicating acceptance
6. Perspective candidates may not nominate themselves nor second their own nomination
7. No nomination is closed until a call for nominations has been made (3) times by the Chair of the Nominations Committee
8. In the event only (1) candidate is nominated for any office NO election is held for such office
9. Candidates MUST accept nominations at the time made either in person or in writing and may accept nomination for only (1) office
10. Under no circumstance can a candidate revoke their acceptance after ballots are printed
11. If a nominee is ruled ineligible after the nomination meeting the newly elected Union Executive Board will appoint
